Designed to create space in a similar fashion to Bay windows, they project beyond the exterior wall of the building. The main difference between the two is that Bow windows are curved. These windows create extra space and allow more light in, they also offer a perfect solution if you would like a wider view of the garden. A Bow window is usually made from 3 or more casement windows.
Upvc Sash windows are designed provide the many benefits of modern double glazing whilst replicating the aesthetic qualities of traditional late Victorian and Edwardian Sash windows. Comprising of an upper and a lower sash which slide vertically, you can raise or lower each sash with ease and enjoy a quiet, warm, draught-free and secure environment. A sash window will allow air to flow freely through a room to create a fresh atmosphere on a daily basis.
Bay Windows are flat windows that when constructed protrude outwards from the room giving the room a bay shape. This style can help create additional space to a room. Bay windows normally consist of 3 openings unlike Bow and are a product of Victorian architecture. You may be able to upgrade to Bay Windows even if you don’t have this style on your existing windows. Ask our designers for more information.
